As a Trim/Packaging Developer, you will manage the development of all trims and packaging across the full product range. In this role you will lead the development from initial handoff to production while closely collaborating with your internal Product Creation Team and external vendor base.

As a Trim/Packaging Developer, you will manage the development of all trims and packaging across the full product range. In this role you will lead the development from initial handoff to production while closely collaborating with your internal Product Creation Team and external vendor base.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage Trim Development across inline apparel, graphic apparel, and headwear
- Collaborate with Design and Product Development to manage trim developments from concept to bulk production
- Ensure component accuracy throughout the product lifecycle
- Manage all aspects of trim sourcing, including MOQ and MOC, leadtimes, etc., with suppliers
- Communicate with Design and Product Development throughout the trim development process
- Oversee external supplier communication
- Manage trims development calendar, ensuring that we are meeting all deadlines
- Support Sourcing with any trim related cost needs
- Create and maintain seasonal trim development charts
- Manage trim organization and maintain physical library
- Responsible for component library management in the PLM system
- Oversee trim color approval and communication
- Oversee trim related testing throughout the development lifecycle
- Maintain awareness around how trims are being utilized on garments to provide solutions as needed
- Partner with Design on seasonal trim objectives
- Manage trims development seasonal cap
- Oversee trim innovation and development
- Develop and coordinate inline, graphic apparel and headwear packaging
- Communicate packaging updates internally and externally to our vendors
- Join pre-fit sessions as needed to inform on trim updates
- Actively participate in weekly cross functional meetings
- Other related duties as required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Textiles, Development, Sourcing, or Manufacturing
- One to three years of related experience
- Trim Development experience preferred
- Strong understanding of trims development, production processes, and general product creation processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excels in collaborative environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
